Wonderful wolf carved from jet with turquoise eyes and offering bundle by Zuni artist Herbert Halate. This is a newer style for Herbert, he is "roughing up" the body of the animal to mimic fur. The wolf symbolizes the ability to work as a team. Given to newlyweds to guide that couple into the same strong family bond of the wolf and the concept of mating for life. Wolf is a teacher and a pathfinder. The offering bundle is meant as a gift offering to the animal spirit.
