The Hano Mana, just like the Grandmother (Hahay-i wu-uti), is a favorite for the first or second gift to the girls by the men of their villages. Hano Mana appears in the Bean Dance on Second Mesa and in the Water Serpent Ceremony on First Mesa. This maiden carries the female Hopi rainclouds iin front of her. Her manta in the back is covered with flowers. This maiden represents prayers for the rain that brings the flowers.
