This wonderful Navajo maiden corn maiden is wrapped in a beautiful rug, the back shows a full corn stalk with all the colors of the corn. The front of the rug opens to show an ear of red corn. This corn is "fruit" represents a young woman who is full of fruit and ready to have children. This is a crisp carving and wonderfully finished by Dennis Ross. This unique piece came from a private collecttion.
