Description

Native American Zuni Made Buffalo Warrior with Turquoise Pin/Pendant by Brad Panteah

This Buffalo Warrior dancer is a spectacular piece, and one of Brad's trademark designs. The turquoise is Ithaca Peak. The Buffalo Warrior dances for a successful hunt and for the abundance of food that the buffalo brings. For additional power, the warrior has a healing hand or hand of friendship with a migration symbol in the center. Over one shoulder are symbols for water. In his left hand he holds a shield with a skull on it and in his right a warror staff. The base of the pin has a mask, this mask is for strength. This piece was created in the applique technique by Native American Zuni master silversmith Brad Panteah.
