Native American Navajo Handbuilt Handetched and Handpainted Pot
Description
Native American Navajo Handbuilt Handetched and Handpainted Pot by Lawrence M. Crank ( --2022)
This spectacular handbuilt pot is highly detailed deeply etched patterns with an accent framed bull elk in the winter and on the opposite side hummingbirds servicing the flowers. The top of the pot shows lightening and rain that pours down the side of the pot, changing to prayer feathers, a symbol of the prayers being answered. The body of this is covered with prayer feathers, rain, and of course, the sun. Lawrence was renowned for his detail work and the perfect pottery he handbuilt. This is one of the largest pots we have seen by him. He finished it in September of 2001.
