The outer circle of the medicine wheel represents the universe and your circle of life. The cross represents the Four Sacred Directions. The circle and the cross draw from the universe and bring into your circle of life good medicine and protection from misfortune and harm. These earrings were created by Navajo silversmith JWJ. In the center of the medicine wheel is a turquoise stone, and below the medicine wheel hang three Sterling silver eagle feathers. These are prayer feathers. Prayer feathers are commonly given as a gift to heal the heart. Just as ancient Americans used the feathers to send prayers to the heavens and draw healing power from the sky, so with all sincerity we hope such healing accompanies you with every footstep.
