Native American Navajo Handbuilt Pitch Pot by Nancy Chile

This pot was handbuilt by Navajo master potter Nancy Chile. The piece is etched with Yei figures separated by Warrior Gods. This traditional pot was waterproofed by dipping the just-fired hot pottery in hot pine pitch. We are grateful to have traditional Navajo handbuilt pottery in our shop. We do not recommend storing liquid in this pot.
