Native American Made Brass Hatchet with Pipe
Description
This brass hatchet is also a working pipe. This tomahawk would have been present during talks of peace. If the talks went well, the pipe of the tomahawk would be smoked and passed as a symbol of peace then taken out and buried--the weapon would not be used. (This is where we got the phrase "Bury the hatchet.") If the talks went poorly, then hearts would bleed. That is the meaning of the weeping heart. Beading pattern and feathers will vary. Certificate of Authenticity included.
