This unique rawhide rattle has been painted with a bear paw. Bear is the guardian of the West. Bear is associated with great strength and is considered to be a powerful healer. The shaft is wrapped in cowhide and trimmed with brass tacks and fringe. There is a macaw feather and a medicine wheel tied onto the end of the rattle.
