The greatest honor a warrior could achieve on the battlefield was to count coup. Shorter weapons such as the skull cracker allowed the warrior to effectively hit his opponent at close range. This skull cracker is made from desert wood, wrapped in red felt and buffalo fur and decorated with red and yellow paint and a 7 inch in diameter dreamcatcher with small carved bear. The rock is tied on with heavy twisted sinew. Certificate of Authenticity included.
