These wonderful Laguna Pot Carriers are not Katsinam. This carving is a tribute to women, the pottery they create and the water they carry to the pueblo. Water is life and these women spend much of their time ensuring that their family will not have to go without. This beautiful piece has two maidens wrapped in mantas to keep out the cold. The pueblo where they are carrying the water is behind them.
