The Deer Dancer (Sowi-ingwa) is a social dancer. He helps to ensure that game is plentiful and that sufficient snow comes in the winter to allow a good harvest the following year. This is a fabulous carving and a wonderful combination of a traditional style and a contemporary figure together. Antonio is a wonderful new carver and we are grateful he brought his pieces to us.
