Vintage Native American Zuni Carved Fire God Katsina Doll

This diminutive Fire God Shulaawitsi painted black and spotted with many colors, which represent corn, the stars and glowing embers is adorned with beaded necklaces. He carries wood for fire starter and two bags with seeds. The ceremonial season for this figure begins November 1 and continues to Thanksgiving in thanks for the coming year. This older piece with classic moveable arms is on an acrylic stand.
