Native American Navajo Made Tigers Paw Necklace
Description
Native American Navajo Made Tigers Paw Necklace by Mary and Everett Teller
This wonderful necklace was created with large pieces of Tigers Paw shell, which was used much like wampum (for trade) and pinshell and spiny oyster as separators. This necklace looks fragile but the shell is very think and strong. This beautiful piece was made by Navajo silversmiths Mary and Everett Teller. The necklace is 22 inches long and finished with two handmade sterling silver hooks so an extension could be added if you wanted to wear it longer.
