Native American Hopi Carved Water Serpent Warrior Kachina Doll (Katsina Doll)
Description
Native American Hopi Carved Water Serpent Warrior Katsina Doll by Thomas Takala
This water serpent represents Palolokong, the plumed horned serpent who saved the Pueblo people during a flood. This is a rarely seen dancer and an unusual carving. We have not seen a Water Serpent carving in almost 20 years. This pristine piece came from a private collection.
