Native American Lakota Made Gourd Rattle with Buffalo
Description
Native American Lakota Made Gourd Rattle with Buffalo by Bear Romero
This wonderful gourd rattle has been painted with a buffalo. The buffalo represents good medicine, the fulfillment of powers and steadfast endurance. The buffalo was the mainstay of the Plains Indians and was used for food as well as shelter, clothing and weapons. The top of the rattle is a glass orb with flower design. The shaft is wrapped in deer skin and trimmed with sinew and leather. This is a fabulous one-of-a-kind piece with a very deep sound by a very creative artist.
