This spectacular pot has turtles and roadrunners all over the pot. This piece was created by Mata Ortiz resident Eleuterio Pina. Many Native people believe that we are living on the back of a turtle. The roadrunner's medicine is its running expertise, and not just physically, but the ability to shift into other states of consciousness with ease. Pottery stand included.
