Vintage Native American Zuni Made Owl Fetish Necklace and Earrings
Description
1960-70s Vintage Native American Zuni Made Owl Fetish Necklace and Earrings
This unusual owl fetish necklace was created by an unknown Zuni artist. The carved antler fetishes are separated by heishi shell. A wonderful piece of southwestern Native American Indian art to wear and enjoy. Each owl has jet eyes and turquoise accents. The owl is the keeper of the night. Because owl is a silent hunter, he is often revered by those who provide food for the people. The necklace and earrings are finished with melon beads. The earrings hang 2.75 inches off French wires.
