1930s Naive American Navajo Made Cuff Bracelet Railroad Jewelry by Maisels

This wonderful small jewelry cuff was made in the 1930s by a Navajo artist and sold at the train stations in New Mexico and Arizona. The silver cuff is stamped Maisels, a trading post who hired the Navajo silversmiths and purchased the stamps and the turquoise that the Native Americans used. The single stone is natural turquoise. The bracelet is 5.5 inches with a 1.25 inch gap. The stone is .5 inches long. A wonderful OLD piece of southwestern jewelry.
