The Racer Snake (Situnini) is a guardian and a disciplinary god. He appears at the Bean (Powamuya) and the Day Dances. His duty is to patrol the dances and guard the dancers. He watches over the ceremonies. This particular Katsina incorporates parrot and pheasant feathers in his headdress.
